| IMPERIAL Strip Straightner |
Imperial Strip Straightner removes curvature from the strip and conditions its edges to facilitate it to pass through the die on the power press and also gives flattened surface of cut pieces. It helps to bring automation in press work.
Machine consists of heavy duty structure precisely machined and with odd number of rollers made of alloy steels hardened ground, hard chrome plated and their ends supported on grease packed needle and radial ball bearings. Their number depends upon the flatness accuracy required, more the number of rollers better is the flatness accuracy.
Top straightening rollers are individually adjustable and are set in taper position depthwise. Scales are provided to set penetration of rollers. Bottom rollers are driven and prich rollers four in number two at the entry and two at the exit pull and push the strip into the straightner. Guides at the entry and exit makes the strip to move in to straight line.
Loop control system through the two limit switches starts and stops the driving motor automatically.
Machine is made in various models and for maximum strip thickness of 5 mm and width 2000 mm
